Kakadu to Cairo (1990 – 1992)

After my first exhibition in 1989, somebody asked me “what next?” I did have some travel plans and an idea was already evolving. In this exhibition I had endeavoured to equate these man made monuments with those that are naturally formed. Sometimes space and time can only be contemplated when placed alongside tangible objects that give the whole vision some degree of scale. I saw myself as a traveller not a tourist.

It’s a travellers viewpoint
