Falling Down (1995 – 1997)

Falling Down (1997) is an exhibition of some of Australias glorious waterfalls, featuring Kakadu, the Grampians and the nearby Toolangi State Forest. Waterfalls have always held a fascination for the artist. They provide a sense of foreboding about the future, over the edge, down below where new paths are etched, ready to be followed and explored. But people ask, “how come there always appears to be a figure lurking just below the surface of the work?
